Senior QA/ Test Engineer in Austin, TX

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Write Test cases at the beginning of a Sprint
• Do end to end regression of application(s)
• Writing automation test scripts will be an added plus (Selenium preferable)
• Collaborate with the product Development teams and other Product Owners to understand the requirements and develop and manage the test scenarios for all production related issues
• Work with QA team to do functional test, regression test, UI test, unit test for all the new features in cross browser settings and mobile devices.
• Own and maintain a log of all new product requests, issues, and desired resolution
• Communicate, prioritize and track test execution, defects and issues appropriately and recommend corrective action whenever required.
• Work closely with an offshore team and provide guidance
• Ability to do knowledge transfer to the team, perform Demos to the project stakeholders and the team
• Work with development team and DBAs to report system deficiencies and escalate to various teams for timely resolution of issues
• Must be able to handle multiple testing assignments at the same time

Required Technology skills:

• 7-8 years of experience with quality assurance and testing life cycle activities and deliverable
• Must be familiar with SQL, .NET, Web services and API integrations
• Must be familiar with the HTML, Stylesheet & JavaScript in order to troubleshoot any front end issues with Web applications
• Experience in Automation Frameworks such as Selenium on .NET or Java will be a plus.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing test automation in functional, acceptance, Load Test and integration testing
• Hands-on experience with Agile related frameworks and tools like JIRA
• Hands on experience of code management using GitHub, SourceTree, BitBucket or similar technologies
• Experience in executing and troubleshooting backend processes is highly preferable
• Experience in Azure DevOps will be a plus, especially with technologies such as Bamboo, Octopus, Jenkins, MSBuild or similar tools
