In this role you will provide direction and management for small to large-sized projects (of up to $50M in total installed costs), related to Municipal Water and Wastewater collection, distribution, pumping and treatment systems. You will lead a team of professionals to develop plans, specifications and construction estimates, taking the project from concept to final design plans to construction post-design services.
Will provide direction and management for medium-sized projects, or several small projects, and ensures on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations.
Responsible for the scope development, scope management and commercial performance of the project to meet project goals and objectives.
Plan and define program goals and devise methods to accomplish them; develops in-depth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies.
Should be familiar with the integration of engineering/technical aspects, as well as procurement and construction activities.
Additional scope includes working with clients to identify new opportunities for business and working with the business development team to up-sell Parsons abilities and services.
Parsons extensive experience in this field, combined with your 15+ years of experience coordinating related water/wastewater projects, through all phases of project inception, design, and close-out will propel your career and leadership opportunities.

Must have a 4-year degree in Engineering or related technical/business field and at least 15+ years of related work experience with some wastewater systems is required.
PE is required.
Incumbent should have a broad general technical and business background, as well as previous project management experience on with managing municipal water and wastewater projects.
Must have the proven ability to develop leads for new business, sell the company’s services to clients and the desire to perform business development functions, in addition to the Project Management functions.
This position requires a manager who can lead and energize a project team to deliver excellence in quality, innovation, schedule, and budget. Incumbent must meet Parsons’ project management certification requirements. Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are also required. In addition, must be knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project. Expertise in managing projects with local governments. Knowledgeable about municipal water and wastewater systems, treatment systems, project development requirements, and various project delivery methods.
