Job DescriptionUnder supervision, is responsible for supervising, coordinating and executing the management of multiple departmental projects or a large-scale and complex project focused on improvement or development of health care setting and/or System-wide initiatives in support of its strategic goals. Supports collaborative development with various business teams and drives process improvements for the successful management of the overall project lifecycle, supporting provision of all deliverables from inception to completion.
Under general supervision coordinates and implements all aspects of clinical management projects and programs to ensure that organizational goals of time, cost, and quality standards are met.
Also performs the following:
GENERAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
• Organizes, plans, executes, reports and evaluates clinical project and program goals and objectives in various clinical areas.
• Coordinates clinical research projects and provides programmatic, clinical and project management oversight for all aspects of trials and projects.
• Oversees the collection, compilation, and analysis of clinical program activity data to evaluate clinical performance and competence; develops and designs action plans to support clinical performance and competency.
• Provides technical guidance in the development of administrative and operational processes, templates, procedures/protocols and other core documents.
• All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications1. Master's degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines, as described in #1 of Level I above;
and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in administration, management and execution of
clinical projects and programs of various complexities, in a health care setting or for health care programs,
one (1) year of which must have been directly managing multiple concurrent clinical projects and programs
in those areas; or
2. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines, as described in #1 of Level I
above; and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience, three (3) years of which must have been,
as described in #2 of Level II above; or
3. Completion of education leading to a degree in nursing, medicine or a related clinical area can be
substituted on a one-to-one basis for experience as described in #1 above. However, all candidates must
have at least three years' experience managing concurrent clinical projects/programs and/or clinical
research experience; or
4. A satisfactory equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
