Langan has an opening for a Geotechnical Senior Project Manager in our New York, NY office.  The successful candidate will be working on a wide variety of challenging projects and must have diverse and proven geotechnical engineering experience, preferably in the NY metropolitan area.  The candidate will be responsible for reviewing geotechnical reports, mentoring staff in the office and in the field, providing QA/QA review and recommendations, managing projects and assisting in business development effots.  A professional demeanor and client management experience are required. Experience in heavy civil construction a plus. 

Requirements:

 

  • MSdegree with geotechnical specialty;
  • New York P.E. license;
  • Minimum 10 years of US geotechnical consulting experience;
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Superior interpersonal skills;
  • Must be self-motivated and responsible; and,
  • Ability to work well with others, as well as, work independently.
