Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Senior Project Manager, Clinical Program Services to our location in Portland, OR, or Renton, WA.

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager, Clinical Program Services to provide project management support to system wide Cancer Institute. This role will support clinical focus groups, which are composed of system-wide interdisciplinary subject matter experts across the care continuum, around all facets of clinical practice and high quality healthcare delivery, including clinical excellence, clinical standardization, patient safety, comparative effectiveness and clinical advancement.

In this position you will:

  • Be accountable for managing multiple clinical focus groups simultaneously, achieving specified objectives on time.
  • Work closely with the Cancer Institute Director, Program Manager, VP, EPIC, IS, Focus group leads to define priorities and manage progress of clinical focus group initiatives.
  • Manage detailed project plans for clinical standardization, new software applications, acceptance of EMR models, and quality improvement.
  • Escalate issues as needed for additional input and resolution

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, public administration, planning or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five year proven track record in managing multiple complex high profile projects simultaneously, and driving towards successful results.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Healthcare experience
  • Demonstrated success in leading initiatives in a multi-region or divisional, complex organization
  • Change management skills
