Equifax Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Capacity Analyst for the USIS Data and Analytics area and the ideal candidate is a business-minded customer-focused individual who is experienced with capacity planning. This person must be execution focused, be skilled at forming strong working relationships across several teams, and be an outstanding communicator.  This position will be based in our Midtown office in Atlanta, GA.

High Level Responsibilities:

  • Receives, verifies, and monitors resource demand and supply data accuracy and timeliness
  • Provide business analytics and data gathering to support detailed modeling of capacity planning and metrics from statistically confident projections that provide insight into future staffing related needs
  • Generates resource management reports and analytics, including demand/supply gaps
  • Performs capacity planning of resources across multiple business units
  • Create JIRA projects, queries, and reports, as needed including development of metrics dashboards and advanced filters in JIRA to provide end-users and business leadership with meaningful operational/performance metrics and statusreports
  • Project management, by tracking critical analytical projects to ensure progress to deadlines, highlighting problem areas to management in a timely fashion
  • Project prioritization and resource management; able to identify, manage and mitigate project issues and risks
  • Escalates resource assignment conflicts as appropriate, if needed
  • Designs, develops, and deploys appropriate Agile Program Management best practices
  • Lead USIS consumer/commercial projects as required


Requirements:

Specific skills/experience includes:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in capacity planning including knowledge of financial services industry
  • Strong project management skills, PMP certification is a plus
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving analytical capabilities with strong attention to detail and task oriented
  • Ability to effectively work and lead across cross functional teams
  • Ability to communicate with senior management
  • Ability and willingness to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to make well thought decisions in complex or ambiguous situations
  • Proven team player that thrives on overall success of team and/or organization
  • Strong analytical skills for effective problem solving
  • Experience with Tableau or Spotfire
  • Experience in SAS or R, SQL and Excel required
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Solid understanding both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment


Education:

  • BA/BS required
  • Master's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience in quantitative field
  • Master's degree in logistics, supply chain management, operations research
