This position is responsible for independently facilitating complex transformation activities, which includes leading large cross-functional teams, incorporating process improvement methodologies into large scale projects and delivering results in specific time frames. The position requires a dynamic professional who is results oriented and possesses a proven ability to develop and deliver effective solutions to achieve transformational results. The Sr. Project Manager/Black Belt will provide project leadership and project management for strategic projects and support the usage and standardization of project management processes, tools and best practices. The Sr. Project Manager/Black Belt is responsible for managing a portfolio of projects in a coordinated way to ensure alignment with organizational strategies and to ensure the realization of prioritized and quantitative benefits. The Sr. Project Manager/Black Belt will identify key stakeholder project objectives and requirements and provide tactical leadership on projects. The Sr. Project Manager/Black Belt effectively and efficiently deploy effective process improvement and change management strategies. He/she will provide in-depth analysis of projects culminating with lessons learned for incorporation into future project plans.

Additionally, the selected individual will have a proven track record of managing complex projects and oversight of a portfolio of projects. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to build positive working relationships with customers and key stakeholders and possess strong project management capabilities.



  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in business, engineering, clinical or related field.


  • A minimum of seven (7) years of dedicated, project management experience.
  • One (1) year of experience teaching and training adult learners in formal change processes such as Lean, Change Acceleration Process (CAP), Work-Out™ and Six Sigma.


  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt with documented experience as a Change Agent/Facilitator including working knowledge of LEAN and Six Sigma.



  • Master’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, engineering or related field.


  • Three to five (3-5) years in Black Belt/similar role
  • Two (2) years’ work experience in a Healthcare organization is preferred.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.


  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification; DFSS is preferred.
