Role Description
Responsible for Project Management from conception of project proposal to owner occupancy, construction documentation production and oversight, construction administration, and building client relationships. Work with Practice Leaders regarding staffing and project planning. Serve as the primary client and consultant contact. Manage client expectations and consultant coordination. Responsible for managing all aspects of multiple midsize to large projects. Prepares strategic plans for project success. Responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects. Serves as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the clients’ satisfaction. Actively manages client budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks and project team assignments.
Requirements
Professional Degree in Architecture from an accredited program
Registered Architect highly preferred
20 plus years of commercial architecture/design experience and management experience
Must be at an intermediate proficiency level in REVIT
Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and other applicable project management programs a plus
Experience managing long term, multi-phase projects
Must demonstrate experience in all phases of design services
Ability to resolve complex technical/design issues and provide guidance
Ability to motivate and supervise the work of others
Competent in business writing and communication skills
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants/contractors, staff
Strong interpersonal skills with all levels of management and staff.
