This position is responsible for developing, implementing, feeding, reconciling, and maintaining valuable project control databases and reports for projects. Duties also include managing and ensuring the reconciliation of program controls data with financial systems, coordinating with Project Managers. This position may manage, integrate, coordinate and review the work of less experienced project controls specialists assigned to a project team.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, construction management or related field. Minimum 15 years experience in project controls work on engineering and construction projects, including planning, estimating, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, schedule control, and project reports. Proficient computer skills. Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Must be a Primavera P6 power user. Knowledge of Primavera Contract Manager a plus. Experience required in managing all aspects of project controls for major oil and gas EPC projects including integrating subcontractor schedules, presentation of reports to clients and accurately tracking and forecasting progress of the work.
