Responsibilities
The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibility
Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users.
Development and Maintenance of Delta One Execution and market making Platform Globally.
Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes.
Work closely with the business analysts to understand the requirements.
Maintain and enhance existing workflow and strategies for ETF Execution based on business requirement.
Work closely with other teams that interfaces with ETF Market Making team to design and implement appropriate data interfaces and data transfer mechanisms.
Work collaboratively with etf market making development team in an agile mode.
Write technical design and support documentation for the systems.
Train first-level support staff in the operation of the systems.
Communicate progress and risks to management, estimate work schedules, anticipate and avoid problems.
Stay current with advances in technology in his/her area of expertise and improve knowledge of business lines and market specifics.
Technical Skills
5-8 years of relevant experience.
Must Have Java - Should possess good knowledge in Java , Must have strong Java architecture and, Java development, object oriented analysis and design experience.
Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
Must Have Unix / Linux and sound knowledge of OOP Concepts.
Experience in kdb, micro-services, KAFKA will be an added advantage.
Hands on experience, excellent communication and team work skills.
Knowledge of Market Data, Trading Technology and Financial Markets an advantage.
Experience with low latency, high frequency trading application development is desirable, FIX protocol a plus.

Asset classes: ETF – Electronic Traded Funds , Bonds ETF

US electronic exchanges
Education:
Bachelor Degree or Master’s Degree in Information Technology or other science related area, or equivalent professional work experience
