We evaluate analytic and digital health tools that simplify care delivery while improving member health status, health care quality and affordability as well as member and provider experience. We provide high-touch services to members from experienced clinical teams. Position Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Medical Director, the Senior Program Manager, Healthcare Efficiency is integral to the identification, development, enhancement, and ongoing innovation in supporting overall efficiency in healthcare in the service of members and their communities. The individual is responsible for the tracking of all clinical activities that foster and support healthcare efficiencies as identified by leadership. The Senior Program Manager, Healthcare Efficiency provides tactical leadership, operational organization, and achievement of organizational objectives. Under the direction of leadership and the Senior Medical Director, the incumbent also supports the contracting and contract management process, growth, and overall process improvement.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

Program Management and Support:

  • Support identification and research around new opportunities or partnerships supporting healthcare efficiency
  • Organize the implementation of new initiatives
  • Facilitate processes around implementation
  • Lead current operations through process documentation and improvement
  • Lead and organize initiation and management of contracts and contracted entities
  • Support regulatory efforts vis-à-vis organizing team efforts and reporting adherence
  • Track projects through their lifecycle through standard process integration
  • Support systems integration effort

Program Leadership:

  • Serve as a process improvement expert and resource to staff
  • Gather and organize stakeholders in the implementation and execution of initiatives
  • Communicate mission and values and translate to the workstreams of various initiatives

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Attend all mandatory management education and training courses.
  • Understands and abides by all departmental policies and procedures as well as the organization's Standards of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program.


Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in applicable fields
  • A minimum of (5) years' experience program development, initiation, implementation, coordination, and management
  • Training or certification in project management or similar experience
  • Experience working with Medi-Cal populations.
  • Experience initiating programs from ideation to execution with accountabilities
  • Experience evaluating effectiveness of programs and processes
  • Experience partnering with provider groups and community resources and agencies.
  • Experience working with state and local government stakeholders.
