Applied Research Associates, Inc. in Randolph, Vermont is looking for a Senior Program Manager to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity in which you will have the opportunity to lead a variety of integrated products and projects for both commercial and Government customers. This opportunity includes leading a team of highly qualified engineers, technicians and support staff in a dynamic environment. This position provides you with the opportunity to be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle. In addition to managing the engineering and manufacturing processes, you will have an opportunity to interface with customers, deliver products, and grow our business.
As a Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for the performance of project manager assignments. These responsibilities include: managing budgets and schedules, ensuring deliverables, meeting contract requirements, and working within company policies, procedures, and guidelines. As a leader you will oversee the technical development, marketing, and resource allocation within a program/project client base you’re involved in. Our candidate will have influence and require communication across multiple functional areas such as engineering, systems analysis, quality control and administration. You will also be responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned efforts and for supporting new business development by leading proposals.
The Integrated Products Division (IPD) of ARA is the prototype manufacturing arm of the entire company. We are involved in Research and Development as well as product sales and support.
