The Role:

 

The Senior Professional Services Engineer reports directly to the Director of Professional Services and will be responsible for system implementation by developing “Snaps”, building pipelines (integrations) and providing product demos to our customers.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Lead customers and partners through the requirements phase of an implementation process, including explaining use cases and configuration options, document configuration, and perform fit/gap analysis.
  • Configure the SnapLogic environment per the documented configuration requirements
  • Work closely with the customers to capture the requirements and provide the necessary architectural guidance where needed
  • Develop, test and deliver integrations for customers to provide highly scalable and repeatable integrations
  • Experience working with Workday to integrate with cloud and on premise applications
  • Experience with other integration technologies like Informatica, Mulesoft, etc. and in-depth understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns
  • Ability to quickly pick up new technologies quickly and gain an in-depth understanding of the SaaS architecture
  • Perform deployments of the software to customer non-production and production environments
  • Understand and demonstrate all use cases to customer users
  • Perform unit and functional testing of new features and configuration
  • Triage and resolve implementation issues
  • Develop scripts and tools that improve team efficiency, implementation quality and consistency
  • Create knowledge-base articles and documentation to help partner and SnapLogic implementation team members
  • Identify business and technical issues throughout the project that could impact requirements, scope, or schedule and work with the project manager to identify potential solutions. 
  • Assure successful and on-time delivery of the projects working closely with the customer and SnapLogic team members
  • Deliver Product trainings to the customers in person and via the internet, and contribute to the training material enhancements based on the new features that are released on the platform

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

  • B.S. in Computer Science or similar field or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of experience with working with Java based applications
  • Workday Certification is strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL
  • Previous experience working with Workday APIs
  • Previous experience working with Inbound - Outbound integrations and EIBs on Workday
  • Strong experience working with HCM or Finance module on Workday
  • Workday Certified Integration Consultant is preferred
  • Hands on experience with REST architectures
  • Knowledge of SOAP/XML/JMS/JSON, basic level understanding of REST principles, and REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Deep understanding of HTTP protocols
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Excellent customer facing skills
  • Self-confidence, tact and professionalism
  • Must be a self-starter and extremely organized with your space and time.
  • Ability to juggle working independently and as part of a team.
  • Cycle between projects in weeks rather than months – continually learning about new technology and products.
  • Accurate and fast decision-making processes
  • Be able to quickly debug complex Snap issues and figure out the root cause of problems.

  • Interest and ability to travel a minimum 50% of the time is a must
