Role and Responsibilities

Job Description:

Perform strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the Digital Direct operations while delivering a world-class warehousing, forward and reverse logistics, and customer care operation. Develop long-range objectives and strategies for operations and monitor performance against these. Establish service benchmarks on direct delivery and customer satisfaction (speed, convenience, customization, and experience). Define information systems, technology, or automation requirements to support operations. Provide leadership to-, support, motivate, direct, and retain high-caliber staff. Promote "total customer satisfaction" (i.e. NPS) (delivery, quality etc.) within all Operations teams. Extend the delivery experience to other direct channels – offline and online including Marketplace and call center/chat. Manage third party logistics partners. Negotiate parcel, LTL and advanced delivery (i.e., installation) programs. Implement improved processes and management methods to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization. Develop and manage annual operations budgets. Participate in global teams/networks as it relates to direct logistics and provide input.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, a related field, or a foreign equivalent, plus five (5) years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in leading supply chain management function with a focus on demand planning. Experience must include large-scale, multi-national coordination experience of units and teams; operations planning; supply planning; and inventory management and disposition. Must have one (1) year of experience in gaining buy-in and overseeing business-to-consumer activities; and retail and supply chain. 15% domestic travel required.
