The Global Product Marketing team in Intuit’s Small Business and Self-Employed Group (SBSEG) creates new products, services and business models that customers value and that will accelerate growth for the QuickBooks Online ecosystem. In this role you will have the opportunity to drive global product innovation for our fast growing payments offerings for small businesses and self-employed customers. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced marketing leader to accelerate growth on a significant business service that feeds into the suite of products within the Quickbooks Online ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have experience with mobile payments, marketing to small and medium size businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Drive product innovations across the payments portfolio by defining who we will serve, what we will promise them and how we will go to market to achieve our 1 and 3 year goals
  • Develop a deep understanding of market opportunity, customer segments, competitors, and offerings to develop the business case and value propositions for new products, services and business models
  • Strategically influence the 1- and 3-year marketing strategy and plan for QuickBooks Payment offerings, including strategic choices about where to play & how to win
  • Be a key influencer of the product roadmap through close partnership with product management and engineering
  • Create differentiated, insights-based messaging and claims in partnership with Global Brand Marketing, Global Insights, XD and Legal
  • Actively analyze business data to generate insights and make informed decisions that drive business results
  • Deliver growth targets for Payments, working across sales and marketing channels – including Telesales, In-Product, Web and Accountant channels
  • Serve as a pioneer in unlocking drivers of payments acquisition and retention – including active use and charge volume

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years in the Payments space in either product marketing or product management experience, including bringing new offerings to market, and driving revenue & customer growth. Mobile payments, point of sale (POS) and B2C experience is a plus
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to make strategic choices, specifically narrowing from a range of opportunities to highest impact near term and long term levers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving orientation with clear examples of using data actively for customer insights, measurement, ROI analysis and recommendations. SQL experience is a plus
  • Strong track record of leadership and influencing skills in a cross-functional, fast-moving environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Startup payments experience is a plus
  • BA/BS required, MBA strongly preferred
