Job summary

The Red Hat's Global Partner Ecosystem team is looking for an exceptional industry experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to join us in Westford, MA. In this role, you’ll help us build community and membership scale for Red Hat Connect, the world's largest open commercial technology ecosystem. You will own the overall program marketing plan (brand, voice, events, activities), and work closely with Red Hat's corporate marketing teams to ensure consistent look and feel and brand alignment of the program. You will also have promotional responsibility to ensure customer consumption demand and ecosystem activation for Red Hat Connect partners that certify and publish solutions in our partner catalog. You will engage with internal Red Hat cross-company marketing stakeholders on our technology and product teams, be acutely tuned to industry and competitor trends, and lead our marketing communication and presentation of our strategy and value proposition to ensure premium technology program that is operating efficiently at scale.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Build, own, and carry out end-to-end the Red Hat Connect Partner Program Marketing Plan
  • Create digital content strategies designed to inform, educate, and motivate prospective technology partners to align, build, and certify their products with the Red Hat portfolio
  • Collaborate with Red Hat Business Unit marketing teams to understand and document BU and product line partner ecosystem marketing requirements
  • Own the Technology Partner Program brand by acting as an advocate and steward for the identity, value proposition and landing of the program mission, design and logos
  • Work across Red Hat stakeholders, particularly corporate marketing, to ensure using company-wide resources and on marketing brand alignment
  • Guide and create program marketing collateral (internal and external), including web content, social media content, technical presentations, whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and more
  • Assist ecosystem team in supporting key product and corporate initiatives and campaigns including how we participate in go-to-market engagements like roadshows, workshops, webinars, demos of offerings and solutions, industry and partner events, and sales enablement and training
  • Serve as Red Hat's marketing expert on external and competitive partner programs and offerings, by conducting research and polling customer and partner feedback
  • Be responsible for generating interest, consumption and usage for Red Hat certified solutions published in our Connect partner catalog

Required skills

  • 7-10 years of related experience, preferably within an area of program marketing, product marketing, or relationship marketing
  • Experience managing a vibrant and diverse user community, focusing on engagement, activation and satisfaction metrics
  • Good balance of strategic thinking and implementation and the desire to make a wide impact with thousands of partners
  • Demonstrated skills in running or managing a complex and scaled digital web property
  • Ability to navigate across groups, teams, and divisions to persuade others to collaborate
  • Good instinct, with the ability to digest partner and industry market data and trends to tune program messaging and communication
  • Exposure to and experience with Red Hat solutions (Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Openshift by Red Hat, Containers, Ansible by Red Hat, etc.) and working familiarity with the technology industry
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate Connect program value proposition and evangelize its offerings both internally and externally
  • Demonstrated success record to meet deadlines and to handle multiple priorities while working in a highly complex environment
  • College degree in marketing, communications or other equivalent; MBA is a plus
