The Senior Product Marketing Manager is responsible for the marketing strategy and Go-To-Market initiatives for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites. The role will focus on building and managing strong messaging for enterprise CIO and IT teams, engaging with technical audiences to evangelize product capabilities, enabling field and technical architects on the art of possibility, solving for new pricing scenarios, collaborating with business development on partnerships and partnering with corporate marketing to target the right buyers and influencers.

This includes working with our engineering and product team to deeply understand the products capabilities and value for our targeted markets and influence the product development for the targeted use case experiences.  The PMM will also conduct market research to influence product direction and roadmap, Go-To-Market programs and business decisions. Using this information and knowledge the PMM will develop key messages and value propositions and then either create themselves or with an outside vendor to create collateral and demos for our sales team, partners and of course customers.  As a senior member of the management team, the PMM will take an active role in ensuring the product meets revenue targets and strategic goals. The position will report to Director of Strategy and Product Marketing.

What you’ll do

Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product targeted to technical and business audiences
Develop sales tools and collateral
Brief and train the sales force and partners during regular sales meetings and webinars
Collaborate with demand generation and field marketing teams to drive leads
Plan the launch of new releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
Act as product and domain expert through presentations & demos to customers and at events
Brief press and analysts
Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
Be an expert with respect to the competition
Manage the quarterly marketing budget to maximize deliverables
Select and work with external partners in building sales and marketing collateral and demos
Conduct Market Research to understand industry trends and identify market opportunities.
What you need to succeed

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering; MBA preferred
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the role of a Product Marketing Manager
Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Technical background, with experience in enterprise software in a technical position such as software developer, product manager or consultant.
