Wedbush Securities is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager in our New York City office. The Senior Product Manager would join the Digital team to work on the modern, web-based Advisor Workstation, enabling developers to build new applications that integrate seamlessly into the workstation and that are easy for users to use and embrace. They will do this by understanding the user scenarios and designing solutions to solve daily pain points.

PLEASE NOTE: This opportunity is not Remote, and all candidates must be available to work full-time in our New York City office

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project workload and backlog, assist with prioritization, track issues or risks, and help drive team’s daily execution
  • Anticipate and address challenges and needs of our developers (requirements, designs, answering questions, technical analysis)
  • Update on and seek out user input whenever possible, using their feedback to guide the work
  • Active engagement with partners across firm to succeed in building successful applications
  • Move quickly with a sharp focus on experimentation, delivery, and business outcomes
  • Owning the project from start to finish and being the key person responsible for its success
  • Manage Project set up, and monitor budget allocation and burn rates to ensure team remains on track and on budget
  • Provide reporting as required to PMO and executive management
  • Assist with the definition of processes and procedures where needed to implement consistent practices across the organization
  • Perform other tasks and duties as required and assigned


Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited University, preferably in Computer Science or related subject
  • Minimum 7-years of experience in Product/Program Management in IT, with a successful track record of managing IT projects end to end
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
  • Must have experience with Figma/Sketch/Other Design & Wireframing tools, Jira, Confluence
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness and ability to learn and adapt to change
  • Willingness to assist the team in execution of projects
  • Expertise with MS office products, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Financial/Broker firm experience preferred, but not required

The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current hiring range is $145,000-$190,000. At Wedbush, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at, or near, the top of the range for their role. Decisions regarding compensation are determined on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
