If so, you may be a fit for this role on Paycor’s Time & Attendance and Workforce Management product management team!As a product manager in this role, you will function as a product owner, dedicated to aScrum team and acting as thebridge between Paycor’s Workforce Managementproduct roadmap and the development team. You will beresponsible for maximizing the value of the product and the work of the team. How you do this is up to you and yourScrum team.At Paycor, we work inAgile teams, so it’s important that you like to move fast and use logic and strategy to distill complex problems into simple user stories. To manage the product backlog, you must be able to manage complex, detailed stories with markettrade-offs to build the best product possible.As a product manager, a lot hinges on you—you must be decisive, available, committed and reliable. ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the product backlog to roadmap vision and deliver the highest value.
  • Translate epics to user stories.
  • Write acceptance criteria and accept or reject work based upon it.
  • Partner with UX on mock-ups and design.
  • Be the subject matter expert for assigned products, resolving product issues and creating documentation (such as user stories and requirements, technical specs and release communications as needed).
  • Work with clients to understand their needs and build relationships between clients and Paycor.
  • Observe usability sessions and integrate user feedback. Be the voice of the user to the Scrum team.
  • Provide input into the core positioning and messaging for various products as well as the development of training, sales tools and collateral materials.
  • Customize communication for stakeholders with varying roles and degrees of initiative involvement.


  • Four-yeardegree in business, software development or a related field
  • 4-5 years of experience in product management for a software company OR at least 2 years of Paycor experience and a demonstrated interest in and aptitude for software products
  • Working knowledge of bringing a product to market, and a passion for providing a seamless product experience to customers
  • A track record of success in the design and execution of cross functional projects
  • Proven ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in an Agile environment
  • Experience delivering cloud-based solutions preferred
  • Payroll and HRIS experiencepreferred
  • Strong technology background and proven aptitude for staying current with latest developments in technology and payroll/HR solutions
  • Ability to travel occasionally
