Job Overview: The Landslide Senior Product Manager reports to the Director of Landslide Product Management and works on the Landslide PM (LS PM) team.  The LS PM team owns the evolution and product strategy for the Landslide family of products.  The individual LS Product Manager has ownership of specific feature areas within the the overall Landslide product. A great Product Manager is a combination of business acumen, technical expertise in the field, and strong internal and external communication skills.  Internally, a Landslide product manager interfaces with engineering, product marketing, sales and operations to drive all key aspects of product creation. This includes defining product strategy, building business cases, developing the product roadmap and direction, defining market requirements, and creating product part numbers and pricing. Externally, the product manager meets frequently with customers to communicate existing functionality and roadmap plans, understand new feature requirements needed in the product and the potential business value of the new features.    Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the strategic evolution of the Landslide Product Family.
  • Maintain the Landslide Roadmap of future feature development.
  • Interface with engineering to develop new features and resolve product issues.
  • Generate business cases for new features.
  • Write technical marketing specifications for new features and products.
  • Interface with customers to communicate key product details and gather new product requirements.
  • Interface with operations to create new part numbers and pricing.
  • Support the sales team as needed to ensure team wins at key accounts.
  • Work with our strategic partners both inside and outside the company to develop joint product offerings.

Job Requirements:

  • BS in Engineering; MS in Engineering preferred.
  • 10+ years Product Management working experience on a Wireless Telecom (LTE/Wi-FI) based product.
  • Experience in the Telecom Lab or operational testing space is a definite plus.
  • Excellent 3GPP Wireless Telecom Knowledge.
  • Excellent LTE EPC knowledge.
  • Excellent IMS/SIP knowledge.
  • Experience with LTE RAN, Diameter Protocol, and Wi-Fi Systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management and Technical Product Creation.
  • Preferred experience in Live Network Testing Methodologies and LTE handset knowledge.
  • Ability to multi-task and make effective, timely decisions in a highly dynamic, technical environment.
  • Team-oriented decision making.
  • Excellent customer communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent technical writing skills.
