The HPE GreenLake Cloud Platform (GLCP) team allows you the opportunity to collaborate with both creative and engineering types to build HPE’s next generation cloud platform. It’s the cloud that comes to you! You will build innovative cloud platform capabilities that enables the delivery of rich HW and SW aaS solutions to customers.

The Senior Product Manager, designs, plans, develops and manages a product or portfolio of products throughout the solution portfolio lifecycle: from new product definition or enhancements to existing products; planning, design, forecasting, and production; to end of lifecycle.

In a typical day as a Senior Product Manager, you would

  • Have a strong bias for action and move quickly after seeking alignment across stakeholders
  • Independently lead and drive the end to end strategy and operational product roadmap for one or more complex products or a product portfolio
  • Build and deliver the value proposition, target customer segments, and business case to bring innovative and disruptive products to market for a product portfolio with respect to the whole company product portfolio (i.e. Product configuration mix, Revenue/Margins, financials, market share)
  • Write Product Requirement Documents (PRD), participate in technical design discussions that will impact Platform capabilities
  • Synthesize market requirements (MRD) into marketing/customer details through having intimate customer knowledge and business, financial and industry market acumen
  • Guide key stakeholders on the portfolio strategy across all phases of the lifecycle (e.g., planning, development, launch, management, exit)
  • Create and drive goal alignment and collaborates across one or more products' value chain partners to optimize margins and enable success of products per plans across the product lifecycle. (ie. Engineering: product development, Supply Chain: SKUs, inventory and Marketing: marketing and pricing strategies and Go To Market Plan)


If you are…

  • Good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen. You are aligned to our core values.
  • Holding a first level university degree in IT, computer science or related area of study. MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8+ years in a product management role
  • Having strong experience in building Commerce and/or Customer Onboarding use cases on a platform for Cloud delivered services. Sample use cases - Subscription models and Offerings, Activation, Customer Onboarding, Fleet Management
  • Experienced with one of the large cloud providers developing the capabilities listed above
  • Having extensive team skills and ability to cross functionally drive/influence work through others, ability to mentor and lead teams to achieve results for complex, ambiguous projects
  • Skilled in cost efficient solution building, financial performance metric creation and analysis
  • Having extensive business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection
  • Demonstrating technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry and ability to provide product specific technical training to the team
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, discussion, and organizational skills
  • Excellent in verbal and written communication and presentation

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered.
