Senior Product Manager –Cellular/IoT–Duluth, GeorgiaPosition SummaryAs the Product Owner, the Senior Product Managerwill be responsible foroverallproduct planning and execution throughout thelife cycleof Neptune’s cellulartechnology, Network-as-a-Service product offering. The individual in this role gathers, defines,and prioritizes product requirements and use cases. He or she defines product vision and works closely with Engineering, Sales, and Neptune’s cellular networkpartnersto ensure profitability and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Senior Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the products support the company’s overall strategy and goals.Objectives1.Product Ownership –defines strategy of the product and manages the productlife cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. Drives the solution set for products across development teams (Engineering, Operations and Product Marketing). Responsible to ensure Marketing deliverables of the PDP (Product Development Process) areimplemented.2.Market Research –identifies customer and competitor product trends by conducting market research supported by on site customer visits and industry trade association participation. Identifies opportunities for product innovation and product enhancements.3.Product Requirements –determines product specifications and prepares product documents including Product MarketingSpecifications, Uses Cases, Project Business Plansand Product Road Maps.4.Network Services Partners –is knowledgeable of partner’s relevant products and market positioning. In cooperation with the Alliances Manager, maintains relations with networkpartners, and ensures partner vision, strategies and capabilities are aligned with Neptune strategic objectives for the Product Line. 5.Sales Enablement –communicates the value proposition of the product to the channel and develops sales tools that support the selling process. Product presentations to customers and channel partners.Serves as subject matter expert for proposals.RequirementsEducation:Bachelor of Science degree in Business,Marketing, Applied Science, or Engineering.MBA is a plus.Experience:Minimum of 7years of experience with cellular/IoT Product Management.Water/Utility Industry experience is a plus.Skills: Positive attitude and learning ability. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written). Excellent management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross functional teams, and third parties. Ability to work with minimum supervision. Willing to travel20%.Proficient with Microsoft Office and other business software.
