The Senior Product Manager, is a seasoned and polished leader charged with creating and executing the future vision and continued success of MatrixCare's flagship Electronic Health Record. This role is focused on achieving and maintaining market leadership for MatrixCare, including both the clinical and financial components of the system. The individual in this role will serve in a critical and visible leadership role for MatrixCare, making recommendations on key strategic decisions and serving as a spokesperson both externally and internally.

As our Senior Product Manager, you will:

  • Create and execute a vision for MatrixCare to win in the marketplace as part of broader organizational strategy
  • Execute an unwavering focus on current and prospective customer and market needs and demands with an emphasis on how software and technology can solve those challenges
  • Translate customer problems and market needs into new product enhancements that exceed expectations
  • Continually evaluate current and future market opportunities, including market sizing, buyer profiles, market research and direct voice-of-customer
  • Prioritize and manage the MatrixCare product road map and multi-generation product plans to define and communicate a product line's future development over a 12-36-month span, including setting client expectations
  • Successfully plan and lead new product launches from inception to post-launch evaluation
  • Closely collaborate with internal partners to achieve product and organizational goals, including Sales, Development, Marketing, Business Development and Management
  • Develop positioning, value proposition and messaging, and work with organization to execute message
  • Support sales efforts and work directly with current and prospective customers

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities for this position:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • Registered Nurse required
  • At least 10-15 years' total work experience with 5-8 years in a leadership role within long-term care
  • Experience with long-term care electronic health record software
  • Expert knowledge of the healthcare market, including the value chain, market dynamics and the political and regulatory landscape. Extensive knowledge of long-term care that is both wide and deep
  • Experience with committees and boards involved with policy-making at the state and federal level, such as AHCA, LeadingAge, NASL, ALFA and other associations
  • Experience with long-term care electronic health record software. MatrixCare experience preferred
  • Clear and direct approach with an emphasis on bottom-line progress
  • Ability to organize and drive teams to success, regardless of formal roles and titles
  • High degree of business acumen that maximizes revenue and EBITDA for new and existing products. This includes determining ideal packaging and pricing for new products, features, modules and enhancements.
  • Excellent communication skills with various audiences including peer groups, customers, senior management, current and potential partners and the industry at large
  • Ability to think broadly and identify opportunities or perspectives not easily seen
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills

Our ideal candidate may also have:

  • SaaS or cloud software experience
  • MatrixCare experience
  • Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
