Kongregate is a leading game developer focused on building engaging experiences in breakout game genres. Our mobile games, including collectible card game Animation Throwdown, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Madness, and the wild west themed Idle Frontier, have been downloaded hundreds of millions of times!
With 15 years of history, Kongregate started out small and has grown into a thriving business with over 80 employees across the nation in three main offices: Portland, Chicago, & San Diego. We are a dedicated and efficient team that enjoys making games as much as playing them. We measure our efforts through results rather than hours worked, and value the importance of a work-life/family balance on top of offering competitive pay and benefits. As our portfolio and teams grow, our culture remains built around gaining knowledge through cooperation. From board game nights to role-playing campaigns, we all continue to learn from each other and grow.
Kongregate has multiple opportunities for Senior Product Managers across several of our game teams. Idle team (San Diego), CCG team (Chicago), and Tonic (Remote) all support the shared Kongregate mission to build engaging experiences, while also having their own unique strengths and cultures. You will have a chance to discover the nuances of each Senior Product Manager role by speaking to members of every game team throughout the interview process.
All of our teams have experience working with some of the biggest entertainment IPs, including Fox, Nickelodeon, and Disney, and continue to look for exciting opportunities with new and existing partners.
Idle team is focused on building new and innovative variations on the idle genre, working with internal teams to experiment on variations of our core game mechanics.
CCG team develops CCG and hero collector games from the ground up, and works to grow strong communities that will enjoy the game for years to come. As a Product Manager, you will collaborate closely with game designers, engineers, artists, and data analysts to build and optimize high quality games.
Tonic is focused on live operations of older titles with passionate and highly engaged communities of players. We acquire titles externally and internally across our parent company, Modern Times Group (MTG), and extend the life of the title through new features, optimization, and new content. For players, it means the game they love receives the attention it deserves for longer.
