  • The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for taking ownership of one or more products in the Digital Ventures emerging technology product roadmap from concept and implementation to business operational readiness. Establishing and maintaining a very close engagement with our business partners; the key area of this role will be to define a strategy focusing on the simplification and efficiency of digital experiences for products that span MGM’s digital storefronts. The Senior Product Manager will work closely with in-house Product and Development teams, cross-functional project partners and stakeholders, as well as multiple new and existing vendors to identify and create new solutions using the Web and mobile applications over a wide variety of devices such as smartphones, tablets, and traditional devices, such as PC’s and laptops. To be successful in this role, the individual must be able to think strategically, work pragmatically in a dynamic environment, value and enjoy building new products and solutions across a matrix of partner teams. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts International policies, practices and procedures.

    • Lead product from ideation to create a solution package; build detailed description, define operational and technical requirements, identify internal and customer impact, ROI and operational plan; drive product execution, develop alternative courses of action and make timely decisions based on logical assumptions and information.
    • Define the product roadmap, drive prioritization to achieve desired outcomes
    • Partner with property and corporate stakeholders to ensure product is ready for market by being aligned to operational processes and systems.
    • Partner with corporate departments to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the positioning, key benefits, and target customer.
    • Partner with the product, engineering, and development teams to drive sprint planning to build roadmap of product/features and successfully deliver features.
    • Partner closely with key stakeholders to build credibility and buy-in to the Digital Ventures platform capabilities by understanding their processes and requirements.
    • Proactively act to bring a challenging idea to market.
    • Proactively solicit ideas and feedback from all stakeholders to ensure the product is continually improving.
    • Make creative recommendations to expand product base and vision.
    • Provide direction to all stakeholders to successfully create and deliver a new solution.
    • Prepare and deliver detailed product presentations to all levels of management.
    • Identify unmet needs to conceptualize and/or validate a net new product offering demonstrating a deep understanding of customer dynamics and needs at all levels from property operations to corporate departments (end-user to executive).
    • Lead delivery on objectives while increasing/improving customer satisfaction based on metrics and success measures.
    • Identify areas to reduce cost and improve efficiency in the business environment.
    • Maintain current knowledge of cutting edge digital technology.
    • Work within the Business environment to re-engineer processes to maximize profits and minimize support issues (i.e., Mobile Applications, Web Sites, Digital Media etc.).
    • Partner closely with IT and vendors, providing requirements and inputs needed to build products from proof of concept through to full product execution.
    • Seek out new opportunities to augment the output to improve quality and ultimately customer ROI.
    • Define and measure feature success metrics to drive features with business value and drive adoption; define requirements, measure KPIs, track experiments, and frequently ship releases.
    • Effectively communicate product plans and status through reports and other updates.
    • Provide documentation and training material and evangelize products and services to internal teams and customers.
    • Perform other job-related duties as requested.


    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; or equivalent education and work experience.
    • At least 6 years of experience in product management, business analytics, product marketing, operational systems, or a related field.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Able to lead and mentor a team.
    • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
    • Professional appearance and demeanor.
    • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.


    • Previous project management or product management experience or experience with Agile development methodology.
    • PMP Certification.
    • Subject matter expert/industry experience a strong.
