What you’ll do

  • Drive the delivery of internal tools and products for our genetic discovery and therapeutics space
  • Define and build research infrastructure products that power genetic discoveries used in product features and in drug discovery
  • Develop a deep technical understanding of the processing and analysis of genetic and phenotypic data
  • Identify pain points and workflow inefficiencies with key partners, build business cases to address them, and collaboratively brainstorm product opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain and contribute to the product roadmap for core Research Infrastructure components for our research, therapeutics and clinical studies products
  • Translate user requirements into technical requirements to drive the execution of internal products forward
  • Drive a pipeline of product features and enhancements; constantly refine priorities to ensure alignment with company goals
  • Work side by side with partners such as Engineering, Research, Therapeutics, Product Science and Business Development, to deliver products on time
  • Communicate the direction and strategy of the related Research Infrastructure product area to the organization; obtain key stakeholder buy-in and support to drive it forward

What you’ll bring

  • 6+ years of software product or technical program management experience
  • 2+ years in product managing research infrastructure systems and tools, experience in genetics research, therapeutics, and bioinformaticspreferred
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics
  • Technical depth with software development frameworks, agile workflows, and APIs
  • Experience building big data storage and computation techniques and software, or tools that utilize large computational infrastructure
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Exemplary presentation and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated success communicating across scientific, technical and business audiences
  • Collegiality, flexibility, and cordiality

Pluses

  • Advanced degree in life sciences, engineering, or business
  • Familiarity with information architecture best practices, bioinformatics workflows
