Description

  • Act
    as the business champion and owner for the analytical flow LC business at
    Sciex.
  • Be
    the main point of contact between Sciex and all of our external partners,
    serving as the conduit for both our needs from them and their updates to us.
  • Serve
    as a primary point of contact for our global solutions based strategies
    involving LC
  • Own,
    and drive to exceed, our profitability goals, our connect rates to sales, and
    our sales mix targets.

As
the manager of the analytical flow business the primary responsibilities are



      • Own
        reporting of all financial aspects of the analytical flow business.

      • Serves
        as main point of contact between Sciex and our outside partners.

      • Own
        understanding of problems, both technical and financial, within the analytical
        flow LC business.

      • Communicate
        value propositions to global marketing for generation of customer facing
        literature, web site, and sales training.

      • Own
        generation of Voice of Customer (VOC) for product updates, positioning
        updates. Utilize VOC to drive technical note generation in coordination
        with market verticals.

      • Actively
        participate in Sciex Strategic planning

      • Work
        closely with micro/nano LC group to ensure alignment of messages and
        goals

      • Work
        closely with market vertical teams to ensure alignment of goals and
        delivery of product messaging.

      • Coordinate
        and partner with global sales team to ensure alignment with business
        goals

Qualifications

Qualifications:


•        
7+ years’ experience
in Life Science Research marketing, sales and/or technical support roles.


•        
Extensive knowledge
of LC market and/or technology


•        
Extensive Life
Science market knowledge


•        
Experience managing
external partners (OEM or other relationships)


•        
Strong communicator
with experience and ability to influence people directly and remotely.


•        
Clear thinker with
experience in product positioning, market sizing, segmentation and analysis


•        
MS or PhD required in
related field


•        
Must be available for
a minimum of 25 % domestic and international travel.
