Job Summary:
The Sr Product Manager defines and evangelizes the overall strategy and vision for one or more products/product areas while leading a team of business analysts to execute on that vision. S/he understand the customer and market needs, and drives development priorities to maximize the product value-
Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
Manage the product backlog, ideas and dependencies
Manage team of business analysts responsible for the delivery of functionality for our solutions
• Motivate, coach and lead the team to achieve department goals • Mentor and support the professional, technical and personal growth of team members-
• Sets the standard in driving a culture of continuous improvement
Represent the current product state with relevant metrics, benchmarks, and usage data
Reflect the overall strategy and product vision in our offering strategy and published roadmaps
Conduct on-going market discovery to
• Understand competitive landscape and market differentiation of product
• Track industry trends
• Engage with key customers
Represent the product on critical internal, customer and prospect interactions
Work with engineering, business analyst and UX resources to
•identify key feature goals, user personas and scenarios
•remove roadblocks
•set priorities
•provide feedback and insight on UX and functional designs
•deliver feature commitments on time and on budget
Partner with internal team to bring critical customer escalations to closure
Identify cross domain dependencies
Analyzes and develops new market opportunities and monitors offering successInspires engineering, IJX, and Delivery in order to build products customers love.
Fosters a strong product culture for the entire team based in best practices for discovery.
