The Senior Product Development Professional discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements to existing products or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. The Senior Product Development Professional works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate tosubstantial.


The Senior Product Development Professional leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Develops design briefs for new product ideas, including specifications, sketches and/or models to present a clear, focused concept for strategic consideration. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

  • Proactive, self-motivated — can take ownership in developing a plan and coordinate execution with little direction

  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Passionate about connecting with our customers leveraging digital tools to help simplify the customer experience.
  • 5+ years of technical experience
  • 2+ years of project leadership experience
  • Strong database software proficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated presentation skills
  • Strategic thinking and business planning capabilities; organized and detail-oriented
  • Willingness to manage and prioritize diverse projects & deliverables with tight schedules
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office platform
  • Experience working in inpatient or outpatient environments
  • Population health management experience with emphasis on metrics and operational workflow for Medicare Risk Adjustment and HEDIS quality measures
  • Experience with clinical coding and appropriate clinical documentation
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Travel 25% within US.
  • This role is remote, work hours are in Eastern Standard time zone

Preferred Qualifications

  • Non-health plan leader with strong clinical knowledge working with clinical teams focused on senior care
  • Marketing experience in a highly complex, multi-stakeholder industry (such as healthcare/insurance, or financial services)
  • MBA or Master's in Finance
