Responsibilities: Leads projects or processes of diverse scope, while working independently with limited supervision Coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals Supports continuous improvement/automation activities Applies engineering principles to develop mechanical, electronic, or chemical products that meet customer technical/functional specifications as well as manufacturing cost/efficiency requirements Conducts various forms of modeling (mathematical, 3D, etc.) to determine if proposed designs are technically feasible Supports and participates in the design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototypes May also be involved with designing product specific manufacturing production processes and equipment Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders Creates and manages institutional knowledge Other duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications:n/a
