The candidate will be part of a multifunctional group that defines, develops and delivers innovative device and process solutions to enable and enhance technology platforms needed for ADI's long term scale and success in the analog, mixed-signal and power products. The person will work closely with other device and process integration, EDA engineers to develop technologies and design tools; support design, quality and product engineers to implement products with these technologies.

Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to:
  • Understand technology roadmap needs and propose innovative device and process solutions
  • Investigate feasibility of proposed solutions with simulations and paper studies
  • Define process flow and splits to run experiments in the fab
  • Analyze data and define high-performance, high-quality and cost-effective process technology
  • Work with EDA engineers to develop design tools
  • Support technology qualification and implementation of new products in these
  • Support production ramp up of new technologies and products
  • Mentor junior engineers in the group


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in electrical engineering, material science or similar discipline
  • 10 years of technical work experience in relevant field
  • Demonstrated record of defining and developing high-performance mixed-signal and BCD process technologies
  • Synopsys TCAD and Cadence layout tools

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $154,400 to $212,300.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
  • This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
