Senior Principal Operations Support Officer ( SPO )
Job Duties and Responsibilities
ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Senior Principal Operations Support Officer (SPO) to join our team. This is a Charlottesville, VA based asset, the SPO performs all the duties of the PO as necessary and manages the activities of the CITP operations, administration and logistics support staff. The SPO coordinates with the CITP Branch SPAs to provide operations support to the analytic effort. The SPO is the senior CITP Contractor assigned to an NGIC branch monitored by a Government civilian or military Technical Monitor or the COR. The SPO performs his/her primary duties at the NGIC and is not considered deployable, but may be required to travel on a short-term, temporary basis to CONUS and OCONUS locations to coordinate CITP operational requirements.
- ·This position requires individuals with 12 years of experience coordinating and managing operations in support of military forces, including planning and managing training, pre- deployment, deployment, sustainment and return of deployed and CONUS-based personnel; and 3 years of experience supporting or conducting counterterrorism, counter insurgency or counter IED analysis and targeting activities.
- ·A background as a military operations officer or SNCO at major service or joint command level is desired. The individual shall be experienced with JWICS, SIPRNET and NIPRNET tools and databases used to support operations.
- ·The individual shall have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including SharePoint.
BA or BS in any field, may substitute additional 4 years of experience for education requirement.
Qualifications Requires Bachelors degree in related field and twelve to fifteen years of related experience, training and/or certifications in various intelligence disciplines, intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) systems and platforms, and multi-discipline intelligence processes including the following current intelligence disciplines: Cryptology, Intelligence & Electronic Warfare (IEW), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Imagery Intelligence (IMINT), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Measurements and Signatures Intelligence (MASINT), All-Source Intelligence Analysis, Counter-Intelligence (CI), intelligence systems development and maintenance, and other related fields. Other intelligence areas may be added as technological or other advances occur. Or Master's degree and nine to eleven years of related experience. Ability to obtain security clearance.
