Description

We are a global CPG manufacturing company with world class brands and leadership positions in our markets. We currently seek a Senior pricing Manager.

Position manages the short-term and long-term pricing strategy for the entire suite of products sold into the US Retail and NA B2B markets, valued at over $1BB in Sales. Works closely across all key functions to develop and execute the optimal pricing strategy.

 

Responsibilities:

Development of Strategic Pricing Capabilities

Provide thought leadership for improvements in automation, efficiency and standard analyses of pricing development

Use best-in-class models, consumption data and trends, and competitive insights to assess and develop pricing recommendations

Implement process to record, track and monitor competitive intelligence and market place dynamics

Develop and optimize pricing architecture throughout US Retail and NA B2B portfolios

 

Stakeholder Management

Establish and lead discussions with Executive Pricing Committee reporting on key trends, drivers, risks and opportunities

Develop and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with internal functions to ensure organizational support of pricing decisions

Oversee development of executive-level presentations that summarize and gain alignment on the analysis and the strategic rationale underpinning pricing decisions and expected financial impact

 

Establish and Execute Pricing Strategy

Accountable for the NA B2B and US Retail pricing strategies

Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain to understand and balance customer requirements with production and logistics constraints when developing optimal pricing strategy

Combine business logic, rigorous analysis, market intelligence and strategic perspective to develop pricing strategies

Works closely with Sales & Marketing to develop all required documents and tools supporting pricing strategy execution for the market

Manage the Pricing Process

Responsible for a team of Pricing Analysts who execute pricing strategy and perform day-to-day assessments of all pricing inquiries from Sales & Marketing

Maintains pricing guidelines and price lists for all products, channels and segments

 

Qualifications:

Education:   

Bachelor's degreerequired. MBA preferred

Experience:  

8+ years of relevant work experience (CPG preferred), 3+ years of experience leading strategic pricing projects

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Well-rounded business acumen with proven skills in Marketing, Brand and Finance

P&L management experiencepreferred, exposure to P&L management required

Well versed in product life cycle management and pricing strategies

Strategic mindset required

Ability to translate insights into strategy and strategy into actionable plans

Strong communication skills, both written and oral

Excellent analytical and project management skills

Proven track record of success and ability to lead and influence others

Proven ability to understand, analyze, and develop product and pricing strategies and effectively communicate and implement recommendations
