Responsibilities:

  • Support sales productivity and deal flow by securing the technical close in complex Financial Risk solutions supporting out OneSumX product
  • Collaborate with sales, professional services, engineering, and technical support resources to help ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers
  • Work with the market management team which is responsible for the planning, designing and positioning of Financial Risk solutions
  • Contribute to sales proposals and provide technical and functional sales support
  • Conduct the demos/workshops and build product demo scripts/scenarios maintaining and enriching knowledge sharing data base
  • Assess the customer's met/unmet needs and recommend solutions that optimize value for both the customer and Wolters Kluwer
  • Lead and contribute technical and functional knowledge to the Request for Information (RFI)/Request for Proposal (RFP) response process
  • Represent Wolters Kluwer in customer-facing communication
  • Develop and deliver product demonstrations and workshops for customers and present at various field events including conferences and seminars

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of related pre-sales consulting or sales engineer; banking, financial services, and/or insurance industry knowledge/experience
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR equivalent work experience; CFA, GARP and/or PRIMIA certification preferred
  • Management experience supporting sales with a strong understanding of the sales cycle
  • Ability to engage internal and external stakeholders at any level and appropriately adjust technical content
  • Minimum of two years of SQL (queries), scripting, Business Objects, Cloud (AWS and/or Azure)
  • Executive presence with a positive, proactive and professional approach
  • Team player who is results oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and general understanding of ASP.NET/C#
