The Senior Presales Consultant is responsible for understanding the Treasury & Risk Management space and its application in Financial Services, Energy and Commodities trading. The role will try to understand what the client is looking to achieve with our software and delivering an appropriate demonstration of how our software would achieve the business objectives they are looking to achieve.  The position compliments the Sales Executive by providing product and industry insight. Presales Consultants are responsible for supporting the generation of sales revenue from software licensing and services sales to achieve their quota of closed deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver detailed product demonstrations, configured to show OpenLink’s ability to meet a prospect’s Business needs – covering product functionality, design and implementation to prospective clients
  • Provide a recommendation that addresses the customer’s needs, articulates the value proposition
  • Analyse client requirements and set-up the software and functionality to demonstrate the Openlink proposal
  • Ensure that any demonstration is configured for specific client scenarios as required
  • Ensure all internal stakeholders are aware of relevant content in the Responses
  • Create supporting documents and presentations to aid demonstration
  • Providing product knowledge and expertise to support the sales team
  • Provide clear timelines and preparation needs to the sales team
  • Request support from other departments and offices when Subject Matter Expertise is required
  • Work with Sales & Marketing Executive to ensure relevant and up-to-date local sales collateral is in stock and is used
  • Provide knowledge transfer to wider local and global teams
  • Responsible for meeting/exceeding annual targets for license and consulting services (between $1M-$2M annually)

Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field.



7 years:Previous presales, professional services or new business development experience within the Treasury & Risk Management environment

7 years:Systems experience with any Treasury Management software or similar product lines

7 years:Specific Industry knowledge in the Trading and Risk Management space in either Financial Services, Energy or Commodities.
