Job Description

In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:

Creates, defines, and develops system validation environment and test suites
Uses and applies emulation and platform-level tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec
Responsible for the development of methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debug of failures
Requires broad understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with Architecture, Design, and Pre-silicon Validation teams in improving post-silicon test content and providing feedback for future on-die debug features

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineer, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineer

6+ years of Industry experience

4+ Post Silicon Validation experience

1+ year of experience with one of the following: PCIe, Memory, Security or Power

4+ years of experience with any combination of the following:

CPU micro-architecture, Debug skills, Logic or Protocol Analyzer equipment
Design, verification or validation disciplines, system/platform level debug and root cause isolation, methodology, and tools
Working cross-functional team environment
Bring up and management of Server Silicon Architecture
Test Automation Frameworks
Collaboration with cross-functional HW and SW team to solve complex issues and improve efficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree or higher in Computer Engineer, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineer

5+ years of Post Silicon experience

2+ years of Power experience
