Kforce has a client that is searching for a Senior Panning and Customer Service Manager in Tempe, AZ. Essential Functions:

  • Work collaboratively with all functional areas of the business including manufacturing, procurement, planning, engineering and internal business units to solve problems and identify business improvement opportunities and address appropriately
  • Lead or support continuous improvement projects
  • Drive collaborative planning with the internal customers (i.e. Business units)
  • Using six sigma/lean methodologies to reduce inefficiencies and improve responsiveness
  • Responsible for driving and ensuring appropriate communication channels are maintained and key customer expectations transcend the organization and are adhered to across the portfolio of projects, relative to contracts/budgets and forecasting
  • Act as the key relationship manager and be the primary focal point for all internal customers; serve as the primary management holder for all internal customer/s escalation plan, recommend courses of action regarding issues; implement requisite action plans which are beneficial to both - the US manufacturing operations and all business units
  • Responsible for driving internal customer satisfaction in terms of product performance, delivery, lead time, cost and quality
  • Coordinating with the Procurement organization to ensure all production schedules are met
  • Acts as an internal customer advocate to drive prioritization of projects and responses to internal customer issues
  • Responsible for overall material inventory management; lead the inventory strategy and production planning and act as the catalyst for driving continuous improvement through the development and optimization of production planning and scheduling using various forecasting models, statistical analysis, and cross-functional planning
  • Analyze, report, and manage excess material liabilities and ensure minimum business exposure at all times


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related fields or equivalent work experience; advanced degree (MS, MBA) is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role; in-depth knowledge and experience of electronic and electro mechanical commodities
  • Candidate must be clear and concise in communicating statuses/required actions and are comfortable presenting across multiple levels of the business
  • Strong analytical abilities, ability to plan, control and direct activities and resources related to planning and scheduling
  • Must have exemplary oral and written communication skills, ability to listen well and communicate effectively with others
  • Strong presentation and organizational skills; has keen attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with different stakeholders and gain their buy in on newly created processes through leveraging leadership and motivational skills
  • Ability to sift through data sets, extract insights and leverage those insights to solve the root cause of a problem
