PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $97,900-$119,600 annually. The full Pay Range is $76,100-$141,500 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.BENEFITS

SUMMARY

The Senior Performance Analyst - Portfolio Management leverages analytical tools to extract, transform and analyze data to create reports, dashboards and scorecards for the business unit. The Sr. Performance Analyst is responsible for the creation of complex statistical data, reporting, recommendations and visual outputs as it relates to the business unit operations and the products and services produced within the division. This role will advise and create recommendations based on reporting results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform all responsibilities in accordance with BECU Competencies and Information Protection requirements.
  • Provide in-depth analysis and statistical problem solving by utilizing a comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of performance analysis (trending, root cause and gap analysis).
  • Design, build, implement and maintain customized dashboards and reporting to manage operational performance.
  • Work directly with assigned areas to define requirements and business needs and translate those requirements into conceptual and logical data models.
  • Extract existing data to manipulate, calculate and format into appropriate visual representation of the data that provides the greatest usability.
  • Provide broad analytical and operational support to the business unit.
  • Work with internal resources to provide key performance data related to products, channels and members.
  • Perform analytical studies on trends and performance.
  • Utilize BECU systems to conduct complex querying, modeling, forecasting, trending, variance analysis and other operational analysis.
  • Analyze organizational data and complex problems, interpreting and recommending alternative courses of action to attain performance targets.
  • Assist in all phases of qualitative and quantitative primary research.
  • Identify and gather data which supports strategic assessments, long range plans and potential new or enhanced products/services that benefit the membership. Utilize findings to help formulate recommendations.
  • Generate creative, action-oriented insights into key business drivers and understand current market, industry and member trends.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or other related quantitative field, or equivalent work or educational experience required.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in data mining, query development, multi-system data integration required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial institution data analysis and reporting preferred.
  • Experience with portfolio management, collections, lending, default, and/or similar highly preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint and Business Intelligence reporting required.
  • Experience with Tableau preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, the ability to prioritize and solid time management skills required.
  • Ability to gather pertinent data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions, as well as formulate ideas and recommendations, required.
  • Proficient verbal and written skills required to effectively communicate in the English language.
  • Proficient math skills with a high degree of accuracy required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of internal customers required.
