Macro Solutions is actively looking for a seasoned PeopleSoft HR Analyst for a role on one of our prime, federal projects in the DC area. The PeopleSoft HR Analyst provides functional direction in evaluating current functionality to increase the benefits of the federal agency’s PeopleSoft Human Capital Management application. Responsibilities include requirements, fit gap, design, test, train, and support related activities. Functional work involves knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM, SQL, and ChangeManagement.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Elicit and document requirements and specifications from functional users and subject matter experts;
  • Translates customer requirements into a best fit within the application, and develops processes and documentation that support the SDLC;
  • Produce schedules for deliverables and ensure that schedules are met;
  • Track and communicate issues to management;
  • Ensure functional compliance is applied across application functionality;
  • Maintain and manage action items from various meetings;
  • Work with functional and development teams to identify and resolve defects;
  • Perform system testing of PeopleSoft HRMS Federal application;
  • Work with the client to identify and prioritize defects, coordinate production migrations and UAT;
  • Monitor defect resolution and support change request activities within team
  • Communicate effectively with business users and ensure customer satisfaction is met;
  • Make recommendations for business process improvements;
  • Assist with the production of deliverables;
  • Research questions involving functionality in various versions and modules of PeopleSoft;
  • Coordinate functional activities with the technical team lead;
  • Provide support to testing and training activities.

 Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other relevant degree required;
  • Seven years of experiencewith a minimum of five years of functional experiencewith PeopleSoft Human Resources, release 9.0 or greater. Specific PeopleSoft HR experiencewith Employee/Manager Self Service, Awards/Promotions, Workforce Administration, Position Management and Federal PAR Processing highly desired
  • At least two years of PeopleSoft HRMS Federal experience;
  • Must be a team player and be able to adjust to a dynamic working environment that supports a Federal agency;
  • Experience in business process reengineering and requirements gathering;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (including technical writing);
  • Keen understanding of end-user needs; ability to communicate effectively with all internal stakeholders; 
  • Must have strong analytical skills and can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills;
  • Requires US citizenship and an active secret clearance.
