Kforce has a client in search of a Senior Pega Developer in Coral Gables, Florida (FL). Overview: The Senior Pega Developer position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities; the position includes work with the company's Pega system and integrations to other software and systems. The Senior Pega Developer must have an expert understanding of the Pega Framework, BPM, and workflow applications. The Senior Pega Developer is responsible for modifications and managing of the full life cycle software development process.

The Senior Pega Developer is responsible for implementing deploying Pega applications, integrations to other applications, and systems. This position requires the individual to manage internally developed as well as externally purchased or developed applications as required by the business. The Senior Pega Developers are responsible for the technical implementation of solutions supporting business functionality. One is required to work with multiple teams including but not limited to QA, Release Management, Infrastructure, Project Management, and the business. The Senior Pega Developer must offer coaching to and mentoring of the Workflow Program team and other employees.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Architecture and design of PRPC
  • Pega workflow design
  • Pega form design
  • Full life cycle application development
  • Design, code, and debug applications in various software languages
  • Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis
  • Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD)
  • Support, maintain, and document software functionality
  • Integrate Pega software with existing systems
  • Maintain compliance standards
  • Implement localization or globalization of software

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent combination of work experience and education
  • PRPC Certified System Architect
  • At least 5 years of experience developing Pega workflows
  • At least 5 years of programming and software development life cycles (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum)
  • Over 5 years of experience in software development
  • Expert in PegaRULES engine
  • Expert in Pega framework
  • Pega expertise and learning
  • Enterprise application system understanding
  • Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, PLSQL structure and development)
  • Knowledge of Java, J2EE, JBoss, ADO, HTML, HTML5, JSON, JSP, JavaScript, Web services, SOAP, Rest, XML, ASP, SQL Server, Oracle, UNIX, Linux, Tomcat, OWL, AJAX, and others as defined
