The Senior Payments Project Manager is responsible for coordinating cross-departmental collaboration with teams such as Marketing, IT, Engineering, Development and QA, in regards to new Payment-related features and integrations. In addition, this position is responsible for supporting the Operational team strategies as needed.


  • Bachelor degree in Business, Project Management, or related field
  • PMP Certified or equivalent
  • A minimum of 4 years of formal project management experience
  • A minimum of 4 years’ related experience in area of business specialization (i.e., finance, payments, sales, hr, marketing, etc.)


  • Facilitate executive (including C-level) meetings to create alignment across organizations
  • Independently conduct all project management activities including scheduling, plan creation and status communication
  • Responsible for leading project team and managing all activities in a project life-cycle (initiation planning, executing/controlling and closing) associated with projects that are long term and short term
  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration including, integrations, new of department’s new features and functionality
  • Consults with business partners to clarify and define project requirements, business case and development of a statement of work
  • Plan, manage and deploy all projects and quarterly goal milestones for assigned area(s)
  • Develops and implements program and project level processes, procedures and performance metrics
  • Responsible for end-to-end project management, demonstrating ownership of the entire process from beginning to end
  • Provide weekly reporting to supervisor and to processors, as needed
  • May provide mentorship and support for other project staff team members
  • Advanced Microsoft Project skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
  • Extremely strong attention to detail
  • Successful at multi-tasking, organization, and time management
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Ability to act and provide solutions with both the “big picture” and “small details” in mind
  • Work within moving goals and deadlines while remained calm and effective
  • Results and outcome oriented
  • Capable of independently communicating with all levels of staff (front lines to executive levels)
  • Strong ability to communicate complex topics in a clear, calm and easy-to-understand way

  • Develops written communication (email, word and PowerPoint) clearly and effectively for a variety of situations
