The Sr. Nurse Recruiter is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective hiring manager relationships and optimizing current strategic recruiting practices, in addition to developing and implementing effective new recruitment strategies. The Sr. Nurse Recruiter is responsible for completing all aspects of full-cycle strategic talent acquisition processes, primarily for Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioners. This includes end-to-end recruitment including sourcing, screening, selection, and other recruitment-related pre-employment processes. The Sr. Nurse Recruiter consults with hiring managers, HR Partners, and other stakeholders to identify key position requirements, and then facilitates and proactively drives the hiring process. Partners with organization leadership to accurately predict staffing needs throughout the year, taking into account business cycles and department trends. Also partners with leadership to determine and achieve the objectives of the hiring managers.
This role also participates in special projects, including internal improvement initiatives or support of recruiting campaigns. Supports and participates in the development and implementation of organization-wide recruitment strategies and programs including employment branding, hiring manager training, and process improvements. Position is responsible for serving as a subject matter expert and as a mentor to lower level recruiting positions and other areas of Human Resources. The Sr. Nurse Recruiter will work closely with other members of the Recruitment team as a resource to help drive department and operational initiatives. The Sr. Nurse Recruiter also works closely with other HR team members to provide expertise in relation to RN and NP matters.

Knowledge of employment laws, interview techniques, organizational recruitment processes and service delivery models, and sourcing and recruiting strategies
Proven experience in effective and strategic talent acquisition, and workforce planning strategies
Working knowledge of applicable human resources policies and procedures, labor contracts and employment law, including the Americans with Disabilities Act and affirmative action/equal employment opportunity
Knowledge of interviewing and employee reference techniques and methodologies
Experienced using social media for recruitment and ability to build and maintain vast network of professional relationships
Proficiency using Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems, and other talent acquisition programs
Comfortable using and learning new technology
Able to deliver consistent and high quality customer service and to interact effectively with a diverse clientele while responding efficiently to customer needs and requests
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing (grammar, spelling, editing, proofreading) and ability to articulate complex ideas for all levels of audiences
