As part of a nimble team you'll provide network engineering support to the enterprise of a company building space vehicles. You must have a passion for solving complex and interesting problems and be able to adapt to the challenges found in such a unique environment. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.


  • Subject matter expert for designing, operating, and maintain network security appliances
  • Engineer, troubleshoot, maintain the enterprise network spanning multiple sites and launch facilities
  • Participate and provide senior leadership on standards implementation, MOP review, and mentorship of team members
  • Provide continuous improvement in network visibility/performance to ensure critical applications are able to achieve their goals
  • Validate the network as designed and deployed meets requirements and specifications
  • Develop and maintain configuration control of all corporate and mission networks
  • Maintain inventory of all network devices on all corporate and mission networks
  • Develop and maintain all documentation for all corporate and mission networks


  • Candidate must be able to demonstrate senior level experience with the following network protocols:
  • BGP
  • OSPF
  • Multicast
  • 802.1x
  • Client and Site based VPN
  • 802.11xx wireless infra

  • Travel as needed to support launch operations, maintenance, or new network deployments
  • Proven ability to adopt to multi vendor solutions in a best of bread environment
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in information technology, networking or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience as a senior network engineer
  • CCNP or CCIE certification
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team of highly skilled software engineers and IT systems administrators
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
