Senior .Net Developer
The Senior .Net Developer will write, modify and document software programming applications using Microsoft tools in an Agile environment. The Senior .Net Developer will work independently and within a team of developers to deliver end-to-end solutions for moderate to complex projects in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to the Software Development Manager. The Senior .Net Developer must possess experience developing software for biometric technology.
-Review user requirements and assess and estimate the necessary time-to-completion.
-Work in Agile teams following Agile methodologies to deliver high quality products on time with performance and localization requirements in mind.
-Build, test and deliver high quality software and diagnose and resolve complex issues.
-Create unit test plans and scenarios for development unit testing.
-Work with peers to carry out code reviews and unit testing of new development.
-Document new development, procedures or test plans as needed.
-BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or similar.
-Must possess experience developing software for biometric technology.
-Five (5+) years of experience designing, coding, debugging, and testing .Net C# applications.
-Strong knowledge of the .Net 4.5 Framework and Microsoft technologies.
-Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities.
-Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks.
-Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure.
-Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment and learn new concepts.
-Familiarity with software implementation best practices.
-Microsoft SQL Server experience, including SSMS.
-Must have a passion for delivering exceptional code and customer service.
-Team Foundation Server (TFS) and/or Rational Team Concert (RTC) is a plus.
-Familiarity with integration testing methodologies is a definite plus.
