The Role

Sailthru is looking for a Sr MTA Engineer in our NY office to manage our growing mail sending infrastructure. You will be a key member of our deliverability team. You will bring not just technical expertise in email infrastructure and deliverability, but also great interpersonal and communication skills. Remote is possible for the right candidate.

What Youll Do

  • Be responsible for entire mail sending infrastructure that powers hundreds of millions of emails per day.
  • Oversee and monitor the performance of email volume across clients and data centers and ensure timely and efficient mail delivery and work with ISP and RBL groups.
  • Take control of mail infrastructure such as IP allocation and management, bounce processing, FBL processing, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.Be the lead for all DNS related questions for client-related tickets and new account onboarding.

White graduated from Brown University with a dual major in computer science and theatre. He also holds an MFA in theatre from Brown. From 2005, he served as developer at Money-Media and Music Nation. In 2008, he became lead developer for Business Insider, eventually becoming its technical adviser in 2010. His hobbies include, maintaining an acting career in off-Broadway plays and taking part in the Brooklyn Generator, a monthly playwriting and production event.
