Senior Microsoft Dynamics AX Developer at NBG Home in Remote

Responsibilities:

• In conjunction with various functional business leaders works to define solutions to essential requirements
• Deliver enhancements and projects through coding, configuration, and documentation
• Acts as a subject matter expert in a key technology area
• Participates in guiding the enterprise architecture continuously looking for ways to optimizing the IT application portfolio
• Participates with the IT PMO and IT Steering Committee in helping with technical needs
• Proactively analyzes and evaluates systems to improve performance and usability
• Evaluates complexity and levels of effort to determine project timelines
• Monitors and reports project status and progress
• Orchestrates customer EDI onboarding and support
• Provides direction and support of day today
• Flexibility to work in a variety of technical environments (web, database, analytics, application integration (APIs), etc.) embracing modern frameworks

Educational & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master's degree in computer science or information systems
• Certifications for Dynamics AX
• EDI, including working across multiple trading partners in retail & eCommerce
• Agile Kanban
• At least 5 years direct proven experience implementing Dynamics AX configuration and code.
• Solid Windows OS skills and Microsoft SQL database experience
• Knowledge of enterprise-level applications, including ERP, Business Analytics, Warehouse Management
• Thorough understanding of application development life cycle and large-scale software implementation methodologies; Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX full life cycle implementation
• Technical and functional knowledge of MS Dynamics AX 2009 and supporting Microsoft Technologies including SQL Server, SQL, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, SharePoint, and Visual Studio
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2008/2012 and database design with a deep understanding of the table structure and relationships within Dynamics AX 2012.
• Working knowledge of Source Control Systems, such as TFS
• Proficient with AX workflow and security development techniques and data migration
• Experience integrating AX with external systems
• Experience in maintaining multiple Dynamics AX environments.
• Strong experience in implementing EDI transactions using the X12 transaction set
• Experience in all phases of the EDI Project onboarding lifecycle (Customer and System mapping, enabling connectivity, testing and troubleshooting)
• Strong experience in creating and managing communications using AS2 connectivity
• Experience with configuring and managing EDI with multiple EDI VAN solutions (Data Masons, OpenText)
• Strong abilities and experience in certificate management, troubleshooting network and firewall connectivity in support of EDI projects
