Design precision analog/mixed signal building blocks: high voltage switches, band?gaps references, charge pumps, oscillators, amplifiers, comparators, temp sensors, LDOs, ADCs and DACs. Process selection, architecture, circuit design, system mixed signal modeling, top level simulation, corner simulation, and design verification (analog and digital). Make innovative circuit design tradeoffs based on project constraints. Define and work to a schedule. Support products through full design cycle: concept, specification, design, evaluation and test development and post production support. Work well within a team environment, but be motivated to solve difficult problems independently. Communicate project(s) status to management. Create presentations and documents to support team design objectives. Provide precise written guidelines to Layout designers on circuit and full chip layout. Work with test engineers to support test debug and production ramp. Support QA and FA with debug and design guidance on circuit failures.
Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or closely related field of study and 3 years of experience in the job offered or closely related occupation. In lieu of MS+3, Employer will accept a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or closely related field of study and 6 years of experience in the job offered or closely related occupation. Foreign equivalents accepted. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, or training;
Must possess expertise/ knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/ knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/ knowledge cannot be "quantified" by "time." Required expertise/ knowledge includes: leadership skills demonstrated by past responsibilities. Fluent with Cadence design tools including both analog and digital. Demonstrated understanding of the digital/ Verilog design flow. Experience designing the following with an emphasis on low power : precision analog building blocks, high voltageswitches, band?gap references. Oscillator. Amplifiers. Comparators. Temp sensors. LDOs. ADCs. DACs. Must be able to identify a successful commercial product to which a significant contribution was made.
