Job Description


Seeking a Senior Mechanical Estimator with experience supporting large, complex semi-conductor fab projects in a global environment. Individual must have a high degree of technical competence and is expected to be the recognized (Mechanical Estimator) technical expert within the company.


Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Feasibility studies and benchmarking, cost models, control estimates/estimating, risk evaluations, detail estimating, market and bid analysis, and claims assistance.
  • Navigating cross-organizational boundaries to align and influence senior construction/non-construction leadership thinking, and to solve problems.
  • Collaborating with other departments.

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a STEM related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in estimating in large, industrial construction project environments.
  • This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with semi-conductor/wafer fabrication facility systems and construction environments.
  • Experience developing and modelling total construction project costs.
