We are currently looking for a marketing professional who will help lead the Enphase Energy marketing effort as we offer homeowners a new level of choice when it comes to energy management. This important role in the Marketing and Sales organization reports to the Vice President of Marketing & Sales and will be responsible for North America marketing to distributors, installers and consumers.

What you can look forward to:

The Sr. Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, producing, creating, writing, executing, and driving the Enphase North America content strategy for marketing, partner and sales demand generation as well as general awareness campaigns. As a key member of the marketing team, the candidate will work very closely with sales, product, product marketing and partners to ensure timely planning and flawless delivery of a wide range of content to boost awareness, lead generation, sales, and partner goals.

This position offers a unique opportunity to help lead a transformation from business-to-business into a more consumer-oriented approach to marketing programs. With our forthcoming Ensemble technology, Enphase will bring the different components of solar together, so they work in harmony to provide energy to homes whether tied to the grid or not. The North America Senior Marketing Manager will help demonstrate to consumers that with Ensemble, they have the power to choose to ensure their energy is always on.

Job Responsibilities

  • Developing, documenting and implementing a transformation from channel and large installer marketing to long-tail installer and consumer marketing in North America
  • Building a balanced marketing mix of both outbound and inbound campaigns that support company priorities and strategies
  • Influencing strategy and setting priorities that will help Enphase Energy with profitable top-line growth while maximizing the ROI of marketing programs in North America
  • Planning, producing, writing, editing, and publishing content such as: website copy, white papers, solution briefs, case studies, presentations, blogs, and social media content
  • Planning and executing event marketing with partners and major North America trade shows to maximize the impact while minimizing return on investment of marketing budgets
  • Developing and executing digital marketing strategies to include direct mail, newsletter, and other campaigns to grow the depth and breadth of Enphase relationships with solar installers
  • Define and manage appropriate marketing metrics and use data analytics to drive and refine marketing efforts in an engineering-based management environment
  • Managing external agencies and contractors for content and creative support, as needed
  • Tracking and managing expenses and maintaining budgetary discipline

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or engineering fields
  • 8 - 10 years of content, product or creative marketing experience in high tech
  • Strong preference for candidates with an understanding of electrical basics and solar industry experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite
  • Familiarity with standard business and marketing software platforms such as HubSpot, SharePoint, Drupal CMS, and SmartSheets
  • Excellent project management skills, especially in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with both internal and external resources
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong team player not afraid to present new, creative ideas
  • "Roll up sleeves and do what it takes" attitude
  • Located in the Bay Area of California and capable of working primarily in the company headquarters in Fremont, California. Periodic travel is required.
