WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Marketing Coordinatorfor our Las Vegas, Nevada office.

WSP’s US Advisory practice is dedicated to transforming the business of infrastructure across the transportation, buildings, energy, environment and power sectors. We guide our clients through solving some of their most complex infrastructure challenges by providing a unique combination of engineering principles, technology, and management consulting skills.

From aging assets and funding shortfalls to evolving government priorities and emerging disruptive technologies, today’s infrastructure owners and operators are facing a multitude of challenges. In response, clients are increasingly leveraging our multi-disciplined expertise, solutions-focused approach and ability to deliver to support them as they work to meet today’s needs and tomorrow’s challenges.

This environment has led to rapid growth for the US Advisory practice, as we’re now located in 30+ offices across the U.S. We plan to continue that growth and aim to expand our team by 25% this year. WSP is currently seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator, to be located in Las Vegas, NV or other major western office (i.e. Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, or Denver) to support the marketing and business development initiatives for our Advisory group. Advisory combines the firm’s infrastructure expertise and management consulting leadership in order to serve as trusted advisors to owners, operators, developers and builders of infrastructure across the globe. We help clients solve business and operational problems throughout the entire business cycle and set the foundation for program and project delivery to better serve their customers.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesA typical day for the Senior Marketing Coordinator involves responsibilities that include:

  • Leading marketing efforts for our national management consulting and mobility operations practice (under limited supervision)
  • Supporting pre-positioning activities including capture planning, strategy development and client mapping in collaboration with business line directors and client relationship managers
  • Coordinating marketing efforts of outside vendors and subcontractors
  • Presentation creation and coaching
  • Proactively seeking out new pursuit opportunities in support of the technical team
  • Developing qualifications packages, resumes, project descriptions, awards submittals and other custom marketing materials
  • Leading proposal efforts from inception of pursuit through delivery of presentation

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:We are looking for an energetic, motivated candidate with strong people, communication and organization skills. The ideal candidate can produce high quality materials under strict deadlines and manage pressure to coordinate multiple projects at once. We need someone who is able to manage projects and lead cross-functional teams with limited to no supervision. Writing, Editing and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) are required!

  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant work-related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, technical writing or related field is required; master’s degree in related field is a plus).
  • A demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel (experience in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus, but not required)
  • Previous knowledge of business principles, specifically business development, budgeting, and project life cycle required
  • Strong oral communication, writing, and editing skills required
  • Strong document formatting, page design and layout skills, and ability direct the development of graphics to enhance messaging
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good time-management skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work in collaborative (as well as virtual) team environments
  • Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize to meet multiple deadlines, often on short notice
  • Ability to travel (as needed)
  • Ability to work in this country immediately is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in relevant field
